PHOTOGRAPHY - DUBAI SHOWS LATE PETER RICKARDS WORK

Works by late Jamaican artist Peter Dean Rickards are now on display at The Third Line art gallery in Dubai. Titled The Afflicted Yard, the survey exhibition looks at Rickards's works, according to Ocula.com. The site says "… Afflicted Yard…continues his mission in preserving the island's true identity and history through his work.”

Rickards was a self-taught photographer, videographer and publisher whose magazine First broke new ground in showing Jamaica’s art scene. He also worked briefly at Panmedia. The Dubai exhibition runs through February 6th, 2020.
