Liberty Hall’s Summer Arts programme this summer runs from July 8 to August 2, with classes Mondays to Fridays 9:00AM to 2:00PM. Activities include arts & crafts, storytelling, an excursion and pop-up (cardboard) art. Registration is $500 and classes are $1,000 per week. The Arts Programme caters to children 7 to 17 in in the surrounding communities of the Hall on 76 King Street in Downtown Kingston.
This year the pop-up art will be used to illustrate the life and work of Marcus Garvey. In the past, the Legacy of Marcus Garvey programmes have ranged from intricate tile mosaics on walls and garden furniture to masks, play/drama and video production. For more information please call 876/948-8639.
