Tallawah, a new exhibition, by photographer Nadine Ijewere and hairstylist Jawara Wauchope celebrates the way Jamaican women across generations and countries express their selfhood and culture through their hair. The exhibition, hosted by Dazed Beauty, consists of a series of images from Kingston and London that echoes the heritage of Jamaican Dancehall style while simultaneously amplifying each subject’s personal identity. Tallawah is open to the public until Saturday February 1st at Cob Gallery in London. Entry is free.
Three Jamaican artists will show their work at “The Island Imprint: The Art and History of the Caribbean Community in Broward County”, an art and historical exhibition from June 15th to
