PHOTOGRAPHY - JOY GREGORY HONORARY FELLOW OF ROYAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY

 

British artist Joy Gregory, of Jamaican parentage, has become an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society. The award recognizes her body of work in photography.

Gregory makes full use of the medium, using video, digital and analogue photography and Victorian and print processes. Her work is concerned with social and political issues with particular reference to history and cultural differences in contemporary society.
