MARY WELLS TO TAKE PART IN ‘MEMORY IS A WEAPON’

 

Mary Wells will be one of the artists speaking on ‘Memory is a Weapon’, an international discussion this Friday, June 26, at 1:00pm Eastern Caribbean time, 12noon Jamaica time. She and others will discuss memory, what we have learned during Covid-19 and what they want the world to look like for women going forward.

Wells is an award-winning independent film Director/Writer and Producer. She was the first woman from Jamaica to do a feature narrative. Her debut film Kingston Paradise was awarded ‘Best Diaspora Feature’ in the Africa Movie Academy Awards 2014.
