JAMAICA TO GET FIRST CREATIVE HUB

Kingston Creative will open Jamaica’s first Creative Hub in Downtown Kingston on Monday July 27th. The project is being done in partnership with the Hub Coworking Ltd and is funded by grants from the Development Bank of Jamaica and the Tourism Enhancement Fund.

The goal of the Creative Hub is to promote collaboration across the creative sector, catalyse growth in the creative economy and to explore “Createch” - what happens at the intersection of creativity and technology.

The Hub will be located at the old Swiss Stores Building at 107 Harbour Street. It will include a restaurant, wine bar and retail and gallery space downstairs. Over three years, the Hub plans to deliver various spaces, including studio, co-working, meeting rooms and private offices. Residents of the Downtown area will be able to access the Hub services at a 50% discount.
