Ebony G Patterson has a new exhibit at the Baltimore Museum of Art in a show titled “An Intervention…made for kids.” Her designs of 150 hand embellished toy guns are installed in the permanent galleries of the museum’s American Wing. It sits in the same room as a painting of a young boy done in 1804 by the earliest known Black American painter Joshua Johnson (1763-1878), who was from Baltimore. The exhibition is curated by Cecilia Wichmann, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art.
The event ‘Poetry Night’ will be held at Redbones Cafe, 1 Argyle Road, Kingston 10, St. Andrew on every month the 4th Wednesday. Admission is Free!
