The National Gallery’s flagship exhibition, Kingston Biennial, has been postponed because of Covid-19. The exhibition, titled Pressure, will now premiere December 5, 2021 instead of December 13, 2020. It will feature the work of local and regional artists. Curatorial director David Scott says pressure is a human resource that inspires creative opposition and has set the stage for some of the most brilliant works of Jamaican cultural achievement, hence the name of the exhibition.
