NLS is hosting its first summer artist-in-residence, Washington D.C. based Wilmer Wilson IV. His work includes sculpture, collage and performance and he will be using found paper ephemera for his project from June to August, according to a release on Kickstarter.
Nakazzi's new exhibition opens April 13th in Washington, DC at the Inn Washington, 1902 R Street NW. Nakazzi (Hutchinson) creates makes of all shapes and sizes and says she chooses her material both for their evocative qualities and their metaphysical properties. Part proceeds of the show goes to the Port Antonio Homeless Shelter.
