Mandeville Art and Craft Fair

 

The Mandeville Art and Craft Fair runs from Thursday November 7th to Saturday November 9th. The Fair will showcase more than 500 pieces of original Jamaican art from young, up-and-coming, and established artists. The event also includes a Junior Art Competition for budding art students, awarding of various scholarships, a chance for students to interact with Jamaican artists hand to discuss their creative process and techniques and a Craft Fair on the third day with a children’s workshop. Tickets available at the gate; in Kingston at Alpha Institute (928-1345); and in Manchester at St John Bosco Career Advancement Institute (963-0611). The Opening Night Cocktail Party includes hors’ d’oeuvres and an open wine bar at a cost of J$2000. The event raises funds for diocesan charities that help basic and primary schools, early childhood and secondary educational institutions, homework centres, medical outreach and poor relief housing and more.
