Bryan McFarlane - Fragments of Time 2

 

In March 2018, Professor McFarlane returns home to Jamaica for a milestone solo exhibition of over 40 large-scale works, many of which were created in his Beijing studio. This exhibition will be his first solo exhibition in Jamaica in over 13 years. An outstanding artist and a 2012 Musgrave medalist Bryan credits China for the inspiration behind his upcoming exhibition in Jamaica.

Internationally acclaimed artist Bryan McFarlane born in Moore Town, Portland is a fully tenured Professor of Painting and Drawing at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, USA. An artist and art educator, Professor McFarlane has lectured, painted and exhibited around the globe from his home studios in Boston, Jamaica and also Beijing, China where his 10-year association with China’s cultural, artistic and academic communities have earned him accolades and citations.
