National Gallery of Jamaica Dawn Scott Award

 

This year, the National Gallery of Jamaica will present the Dawn Scott Award to a participating artist in its Summer Exhibition 2019, which runs from July 28 to October 27, 2019. The presentation was previously part of the Jamaica Biennial. The Dawn Scott Memorial Award comes with a monetary prize and is sponsored by art critic, art historian, and curator Edward M. Gómez to honour the memory and legacy of his close friend and colleague, the late Jamaican artist Alison Dawn Scott.
