Kianne Patrice in German Photography Magazine

The German photography magazine “Pictures Das Foto-Magazine” features Jamaican photographer and artist Kianne Patrice in its September 2018 issue.

Accompanying the article are 14 pieces of her "merges", including a two-page spread. Merges are digital art overlaid on photographs. Das Foto quotes the artist on her work; "I would like to move something in the viewer, resonate with them and stimulate their thoughts."

Patrice, who previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry, started photography professionally six years ago. Some of her work will be on show from October 28th through December in an exhibition titled Celebrating Photography at the Jamaica Conference Centre in downtown Kingston. It is being mounted by the Photography Society of Jamaica in collaboration with JCDC and Kingston Creative.
